caspar. emerged out of the partnership of meyerschmitzmorkramer and was founded by Caspar Schmitz-Morkramer in 2019. It is a multi-award winning architecture studio that covers all architectural service phases at the highest level. caspar. has offices in Cologne and Hamburg and employs around 120 people.
The center of our designs is the idea of humans as users of architecture; every one of the firm’s projects is guided by the principle of human scale. This scale is not static, because the concept of the “utility” of architecture is continually changing. caspar. approaches this through a hybrid, dialogical mode of thinking that conceives of all designs as strategies for the future and for the transformation of the construction industry.
